Kerry Gifford is a dedicated professional from Mahomet, Illinois, known for his hard work and commitment to his community. He graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School. During his high school years, he was active in golf and cross-country, sports that taught him discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. He spent much of his free time at the Lake of the Woods Golf Course, which deepened his passion for golf.
After high school, Kerry began his college education at Parkland College in 1986. He later transferred to Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1990. He started working as a teller at Fisher National Bank of Mahomet shortly after graduating. He was promoted to loan officer by 1994.
He joined Culligan of Champaign as a field service technician, where he repaired and maintained water filtration systems. He was eager to grow professionally and earned his plumbing license from the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Kerry enrolled at Millikin University in 2010 and completed a Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2014. This new qualification opened doors for further advancement in his career. By 2016, Kerry had become a Senior Analyst. His insights have helped the company become more efficient and improve the services it offers.
Outside of work, Kerry is deeply involved in his community. He enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time with his family. He mentors young entrepreneurs and supports business owners. As a member of SCORE Decatur, he volunteers his time and knowledge to help others succeed. He also donates business and self-help books to prisons, hoping to inspire personal growth among inmates.
